Legendary music icon Paul McCartney is announcing another concert tour this 2013. His team had recently announced that McCartney will serenade his fans throughout the United States. Entitled “Out There”, the tour is set to visit seven cities like in Austin and Brooklyn. Fans can expect nostalgia as McCartney will sing songs from his former band, the Beatles up to his solo music. Each concert event will last for three hours together with a band of talented musicians like keyboardist Paul Wickens, drummer Abe Laboriel Jr., guitar player Rusty Anderson and bassist/guitarist Brian Ray. The three-hour concert will also feature some of the latest compositions by McCartney, which is his surprise to his fans.
Part of the “Out There” tour is a couple of stops in Brazil. Last May 09, 2013, Paul McCartney performed in front of a mammoth crowd in a stadium in the said country. It was a week of rock n’ roll for the fans in Fortaleza, Belo Horizonte and Goiania, which are also the cities he had never visited before. McCartney found the fans totally energetic and incredible that makes him want to go back in the near future. The former The Beatles member sang some of the bands most popular songs that resulted to an emotional crowd. The concert he had in Fortaleza was the most emotional one he has so far, wherein the crowd let off yellow and green balloons while he was singing “Hey Jude”. This tribute was organized by the fans themselves via social media and totally caught McCartney by surprise. For certain, fans in the US will have some surprises for the legendary singer as well. After his concert tours in Brazil, Paul McCartney will now visit the seven cities in the US to give the people the best three hours of their life.
“Out There!” is a worldwide concert tour, Brazil being the first leg of the show and then US. It will run throughout the year and is planned to target places that McCartney had never been before. The concert is said to feature new lighting styles, stage design that should carry McCartney towards the audience and new songs in the set list. The management also announced that each show will be announced individually at different times and dates. This is done to give the venue a chance to be in the spotlight, while the production team teases the fans with pictures. Overall, the concert tour includes places in South America, Europe and North America as next stops.
In North America, Paul McCartney will set foot on Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on June 08 to 10. It will be his first time to perform in Barclays Center since it was only opened in 2012. Fans and the production team expect that this tour would be a great success and will leave the fans wanting for more. Other concert venues also include the Frank Erwin Center (TX), Nationals Park (WA), BOK Center (OK), FedEx Forum (TN), Amway Center (FL), among many others.
