Boston started the season slow winning only three of their first 10 games. There were already questions surrounding the Bruins whether they could really defend the title. After that forgettable October, the team regrouped and went on a roll in November. The Bruins started the month winning ten straight games, with four games coming from the road. For that month, the Bruins won 12 of their 13 scheduled games. December was yet again another solid outing for the six-time Stanley Cup champions. They won nine of their 12 games for that month highlighted by a seven game winning streak. Through January, the boys from TD Garden are 5-2 with six more games remaining. Four of the six remaining games are on the road.
In terms of the road record of the Bruins, they are currently 13-5-0. They are the only team with no overtime losses on the road with an above .500 record. Owners of Boston Bruins tickets need not to worry about their team playing on the road evidenced by their good record. The Bruins also proved that they can win in the bigger stage on the road after defeating the Vancouver Canucks in last season’s title clinching game. At home Boston is as good as they are on the road. Their record in TD Garden is 16-7-1.
