Jason Aldean: How the Country Superstar Climbed to Stardom

Set to rock the United States and Canada with his scheduled music tours, Jason Aldean is simply unstoppable. He is one of the hottest country stars at present, who can gather 20,000 people in Tacoma Dome. But before reaching his present stardom, Aldean also had to deal with a struggling career.

Born in Macon, Georgia, Aldean’s parents were not able to raise him together as they got a divorce when the singer was just three years old. His mother stayed in Macon, while his father moved to Homestead, Florida. He went to Windsor Academy and he always looked forward to spending the summer with his dad in Florida.

His love for music was nurtured by his father who patiently mapped out guitar chords on paper so that while he was at work, Aldean could practice and learn where to place his fingers. He was a fast learner and his inclination towards music was becoming very apparent. He could play a song after only hearing it several times. Some of the superstar’s favorites when he was younger were “My Home’s in Alabama??? by Alabama and “The Cowboy Rides Away.???

Jason AldeanBoth Aldean’s parents were very supportive in the boy’s passion for music. He got to watch the country-music awards when he was 14, after which, his determination to perform on stage was never quenched. His first ever performance on stage was with an audience of 10 people. He subsequently joined contests and he got to join his first band in Nashville South.

For Jason Aldean, the road to becoming a superstar was not easy. Before his first hit single “Hicktown??? reached No. 10 in the Billboard Hot Country Song, Aldean experienced doors slamming on his face. Thanks to Broken Bow, the record company who chose to put its faith in him, he saw some light in his musical career.

Jason Aldean produced several successful albums, the first one was his self-titled Jason Aldean, where Hicktown was included, Relentless, Wide Open, My Kinda Party, which produced  and his present album Night Train. Some of the best hits of Aldean were Why, Amarillo Sky, Johnny Cash, Laughed Until We Cried, She’s Country, Crazy Town and many more.

His latest album, Night Train, feature songs that were written by Wendell Mobley and Neil Thrasher. It also includes those written by Thomas Rhett, Aldean’s tour mate.

Aside from his singing career, Aldean also forayed into acting, where he got to say a few lines in Sweetwater, a movie starring Ed Harris. His role wasn’t that much but according to Aldean, he just wanted his part to be small as he was not even sure if he can really “act.???
