Green Bay Packerstickets would be a sellout on Packers final game for the season. Despite having a 14-1 record, Green Bay looks to end on a high note in a relatively good season for the champs. After their game versus the Detroit Lions on Lambeau Field on New Year’s Day, the Packers would have at least two weeks of rest before playing the Divisional Playoff Round. They are projected to be the first seed in the NFC. If the Packers emerged victorious in the Divisional Round as well as the Conference Championships, Green Bay would then move on to their second straight Super Bowl appearance.

Reigning Super Bowl champions and league leading Green Bays would be well represented in the 2012 Pro Bowl which will happen days before the Super Bowl. On January 29, seven Packers would be playing for the National Football Conference team. The Pack would be led by reigning Super Bowl Most Valuable Player Aaron Rodgers, who will be the starting quarterback for the NFC team. Back in 2009, Rodgers was the third guy on the team. Other starters for the NFC team from Green Bay are John Kuhn (fullback), Clay Matthews (outside linebacker), and Charles Woodson (cornerback). Greg Jennings (wide receiver), B.J. Raji (interior lineman), and Scott Wells (center) are the other all stars that would come off the bench for the NFC team.
No one can doubt Rodgers impact to the Green Bay Packers. The reigning Super Bowl MVP is certainly having one of the finest seasons for a quarterback in the history of the game. He tops the league in the passer rating category with a staggering 122.5, his career-high. Coming in second to Rodgers is fellow Pro Bowler Drew Brees with 108.4. The margin in rating shows how good of a quarterback Rodgers is. His passing touchdowns (45) is also number one in the entire league. Rodgers’ 9.25 yards per pass attempt easily tops the entire NFL with an almost one yard advantage over the next player in rank. When it comes to completion percentage, Rodgers is second in the entire league. His passing yards of 4,643 is third in the league behind Brees and Tom Brady. Rodgers is also third in passing yards per game behind Brees and Brady. He has 310 in that category.
Ever since Rodgers became the starting quarterback for the Packers in 2008, he has gotten better everyday and moved in the top echelon of quarterbacks in the league. From being a reserve in 2009, he is now starting for the NFC.

Green Bay has really become a one-of-a-kind team this season. From being the champions last season after coming in the playoffs ranked sixth in the playoff seeding and had to go through the Wild Card round. They overcame the odds and defeated heavy favorite Pittsburgh Steelers in one of the classic Super Bowl ever. Due to their Cinderella story and their great play this season, Green Bay was named as “America’s Team” after a recent survey. At least 22 percent of the voters said that the Packers was their favorite team.
