An expansion team created in 1998, the Nashville Predators have emerged as a force to be reckoned with in the Western Conference. In their first two seasons, the team finished with the same lousy record – twin 28 win seasons that put them in the bottom of the NHL. But they gradually improved, finishing just 10 points out the next season, and making their first playoff trip during the 2003-04 season. Since then, they’ve made the postseason each year but one. Don’t call it Music City. This is Smashville.
